Cabin Fever is a visual novel that truly captivates with its visually stunning artwork and beautiful storytelling. The game takes you on a journey of off-grid life, where you spend your days tending to a vegetable garden and working remotely as a computer programmer.
The first thing that strikes you about this game is the breathtaking art style. With over 20 beautifully illustrated CGs, 140 character poses, and 60 unique backgrounds, Cabin Fever presents an immersive world that will leave you in awe. Every scene is meticulously crafted to create an atmosphere that draws you into the story.
Speaking of the story, it's impossible not to get emotionally invested in this visual novel. As a player, you are faced with moral dilemmas when a young woman appears on your secluded property one stormy night - do you help her or prioritize your own safety? The storyline branches out based on the choices you make, offering multiple endings and replayability for more than 3 hours of gameplay.
In addition to the compelling narrative, Cabin Fever also delivers on sound design. The soundtrack features 14 original themes that enhance every moment of gameplay. Furthermore, voice performances in English add another layer of immersion to the experience - and if desired by players like myself who appreciate customization options - there's even an option to choose the protagonist's voice.
