Star Mine: A Galactic Adventure

Pew Pew Pew! That's the sound of non-stop action in Star Mine, a thrilling 3D first-person space shoot 'em up game. Get ready to embark on an interstellar mission where you pilot a Zeus class star mining ship through alien mines in deep space. This game is packed with excitement, from flying through enclosed walls and dodging laser grids to blasting star jewels from asteroids and stealing cargo from enemy ships.

The story takes place in a dying and desperate old federation which needs your help. As an invader of alien mines, your task is to plunder their resources so that the federation can survive just a little longer. The mines are filled with challenges such as wormholes for entry and exit, laser energy grids protecting the mine's interior, attractor fields powered by energy grids, and lightning conductors forming part of these defenses.

Controls are customizable to suit your preference - whether you prefer keyboard or joystick/controller input. The game offers two difficulty levels: Novice for beginners or Expert for seasoned space adventurers. Additionally, Star Mine features five original music tracks that enhance the immersive experience.

The gameplay mechanics add depth to this galactic adventure; as your ship gains momentum upon thrusting forward but slows down when thrusting is released. You can rotate in any horizontal direction while also having the option to increase or decrease altitude within each mine.

Your primary goal is clear - destroy asteroids by shooting them apart and collect precious star jewels floating amidst wreckage (as indicated by the counter at top right). Cargo carried by enemy ships may also be collected after dispatching them into cosmic oblivion.

Beware of locked areas within mines; you might have to acquire keys dropped only after eliminating patrol ships guarding those parts. The alien denizens may not appreciate your intrusion, and a few might fight back or even attempt to ram your ship. Luckily, your Zeus class ship is renowned for its high maneuverability and thruster speed.

Power-ups in the form of shield energy cubes will increase the strength of your protective shields, displayed as a bar at top middle right. Additionally, amber spherical plasma boosts your weapon's potency, indicated by three lights at bottom left. Sustaining damage will deplete both shield strength and gun power.

Keep an eye on the radar located centrally at the top of your screen; it provides vital information about nearby objects. Aliens are marked in red while green indicates jewels, asteroids or cargo. Light blue indicates energy detections that may prove useful during intense battles.

If you run low on hyperdrive fuel during missions - no worries! You'll automatically arrive at a mine containing precious hyperdrive energy to replenish it for further interstellar travel. However, be cautious of mines containing attractor fields; these formidable defenses cannot be destroyed! They pass through walls effortlessly as they draw their power from scattered lightning conductors throughout the mine.

Star Mine's captivating storyline along with its imaginative graphics make it an engaging experience for players of all ages. Get ready to blast off into outer space!
