The Last Moon Needs You is a captivating and interesting Action-RPG game that fans of the genre should definitely try. Set in a fantasy version of pre-colonial Philippines, the game transports players to the late 1400s and immerses them in a vast world filled with historical polities, traditions, architectures, and brutal weapons of war.
One of the standout features of The Last Moon Needs You is its detailed depiction of Hirangbanwa, an archipelago where multiple polities like Tondun, Kaboloan, Sibung,and Butawan rule over various islands. Players have the opportunity to explore this medieval-themed Philippines and discover the culture and livelihoods of these different polities. From their way of life to their gods they worship and political conflicts; there's plenty to uncover.
However captivating this setting may be though; it's important not to forget that danger lurks around every corner. The world is teeming with malevolent creatures that have been passed down through generations as tales from ancestors land centuries ago. From impish Duwendes to bloodthirsty Sigbin and even larger Juggernauts like Ikugan (Filipino Bigfoot)and Bungisngis – a giggling cyclops – players must be prepared for battles against these formidable foes.
