Lumencraft is an innovative combination of a top-down shooter and a base-building game with tower defense elements. Set in a post-apocalyptic world where humanity struggles to survive without electricity and light, players embark on a mission to find Lumen, a crystal that holds the key to mankind's survival.
The game offers unique gameplay mechanics that set it apart from other base building games. Instead of waiting for resources to accumulate in a factory, Lumencraft allows players to use drills to farm materials and dig tunnels in the underground environment. This adds an exciting element of exploration as you navigate through dark caves and face off against swarms of enemies.
One impressive aspect of Lumencraft is its fully destructible environment. The developers have utilized original algorithms within the Godot Engine, transforming it into an incredible tool that allows every pixel of terrain to be destroyed.
