Full review

99Vidas is a fantastic game that successfully captures the essence and nostalgia of old school side-scrolling beat 'em up games from the 80's and 90's. With its pixelated graphics and chock-full of references to pop culture, this game will surely appeal to fans of the genre.

The gameplay in 99Vidas is smooth and satisfying, featuring modern era mechanics that enhance the overall experience. The controls are responsive, allowing for precise movements and combos as you take on hordes of enemies and challenging bosses.

With six stages already available, each taking you on a journey through different parts of the world, there's plenty of content to keep you entertained. And with additional stages promised in future updates, there will always be something new to look forward to.

One great aspect of 99Vidas is its multiplayer feature. You can team up with up to three other players locally or online for some co-op beat 'em up action. This adds another layer of fun as you work together with your friends to defeat enemies and conquer each stage.

What truly sets 99Vidas apart from other similar games is its homage to classic gaming as well as pop culture from the past decades. Whether it's nods towards iconic video games or references to beloved movies, TV shows, and music from the 80's and 90's - this game truly celebrates those times in an authentic way.

All in all, if you're a fan of old school beat 'em ups or simply enjoy games that pay tribute to retro gaming glory days while still offering modern gameplay mechanics, then I highly recommend giving 99Vidas a try. It's full of side-scrolling beat 'em up fun mixed with nostalgic pop culture references that make it worth playing over and over again!
