The Wall is a game that defies traditional genre boundaries, combining elements from various genres to create a unique and engaging experience. With dynamic maps, slick combat, base building, and economy management all coming together, players are in for an exciting ride.
One of the standout features of The Wall is the enormous wall itself that divides teams until it is opened either manually or automatically. This adds a strategic element to each match as players must adapt their gameplay based on whether they adopt a fast-paced aggression-based approach or a slower economy-based strategy.
With its combination of E-Sports FPS combat mechanics, long-term RTS-like strategy elements, and survival game world-manipulation aspects, The Wall sets itself apart from other online FPS games that may feel repetitive and dull.
What makes every battle in The Wall truly special is the way it unfolds differently depending on team economies as well as individual player items and conditions. Outside of matches lies players' persistent inventory which includes skills and weapon customizations.
The game's economy revolves around three currencies: energy, wood ,and minerals. Each currency plays an important role in building structures within matches - allowing players to customize their strategies by choosing how to allocate resources.
A key feature of The Wall lies in its terrain manipulation mechanic that allows players to place down fortifications
