Sector Assault takes the classic Asteroids formula and injects it with a thrilling twist that will leave players on the edge of their seats. Your mission is to defeat an enemy armada using weapons and tactics as diverse as your own arsenal.
With a staggering 14 powerful loadout options, you'll have the freedom to tailor your approach to each battle. Whether you prefer unleashing swarms of missiles, getting up close and personal with the Scattershot, or taking enemies by surprise from behind cover with Chain Lightning, there's a weapon for every playstyle.
But it doesn't stop there – equipment options offer even more tactical flexibility than weapons themselves. Teleportation allows for strategic repositioning on the battlefield, stunning high-priority targets can turn the tide in your favor, and projecting an energy field that increases ramming damage adds another layer of complexity to combat strategy.
The opposing fleet consists of 16 deadly enemies and their variants. From phased cruise missiles to raiders capable of teleporting in and out of play, you'll face an array of formidable opponents. Evade mobile mines and sweeping lasers as you exchange fire with heavily armed juggernauts covered in impenetrable armor plating. Even basic enemies become supercharged variants that continuously unleash special attacks – be prepared for screens filled with projectiles!
