Lazy Jiangshi is a visually stunning yuri visual novel that follows the story of Kotori, a girl who has just graduated from high school and is now entering college. As she prepares herself for this new chapter in her life, she finds herself exploring the possibilities of romantic relationships in this new environment.

The game introduces us to various characters that Kotori encounters during her college journey. One such character is Eri, a freshman who is passionate about video games. While their initial interactions may not be smooth sailing, Kotori soon discovers an interesting and attractive side to Eri. However, there's one obstacle standing in their way - Izumi, Kotori's childhood friend who strongly opposes their relationship.

Another notable character we meet is Yukino Akigawa, the president of the anime and manga club at college. With her cheerful and self-confident personality along with her unique fashion choices (overhead ears!), Yukino becomes intrigued by Kotori right from their first encounter.

Aika Kashinawa adds another layer to the story as she makes an unexpected appearance as Kotori's sister's friend. These two share a complicated past where unrequited love once existed between them but circumstances led them astray. Will old feelings reignite or will they remain trapped in the past forever?
