Curator review

I have played a lot of RPG games but none like this. With its pixel graphics and awesome story-line, you won't want to stop playing. I can't wait for the full release. Keep up the great work devs.

Tails Noir is a post-noir narrative adventure that delivers a captivating and unique gameplay experience. Set in a dystopian Vancouver inhabited by anthropomorphic animals, you assume the role of Howard Lotor, a raccoon private eye embarking on what may be his most significant case to date.

One of the standout features of Tails Noir is its stunning visuals. The combination of high-resolution pixel art and dynamic lighting effects creates an immersive and atmospheric world. From pouring rain to neon lights, the attention to detail brings the sprawling city to life.

The gameplay focuses heavily on storytelling and emotional expression, allowing players to shape their own identity through dialogue choices. This adds depth and personalization, giving you agency over how Howard Lotor evolves throughout his journey.

Inspired by film noir aesthetics and existential philosophy, Tails Noir subverts genre expectations while challenging your perception of identity. It incorporates elements from old-school CRPGs with rich dialogues that provide thought-provoking discussions reminiscent of classic noir films.

The engaging narrative explores themes such as existence, loss, connection with others amidst a post-noir dystopia society where hope still persists despite the coldness surrounding it. As you delve into the dark underbelly of Vancouver's districts like Gastown or Granville Street, you will meet diverse characters who are striving for change in their own ways - some for betterment while others may have ulterior motives. All these factors combined create an evocative atmosphere that immerses players in this unforgettable story.
